What a lovely picture!
Theresa (68) said ‘everything you do is so great- it’s welcoming, and it’s also really laid back’ at our event at @mud_cic at Platt Fields Market Garden last week.
The group of older and younger neighbours loved the delicious community lunch and can't wait to go back soon. 🍛

In honour of #EarthDay we're thinking about the green benefits of growing your own food! If you don't have access to your own garden, there are lots of plants that just need a sunny windowsill to grow. Or you can find your nearest community garden here: goodtogrowuk.org/map/manches…

Playscheme week 2 started. Lovely weather for day 1 so we could finally do some great outdoor play doing football and archery. Children also got to take home a pack of pasta and sauce to make a healthy meal at home! #2022ouryear #haf2022 @MCRActive @ManCityCouncil

It's Community Garden week! 💚
With more than 1 in 8 homes having no access to a garden, community growing spaces are more important than ever.
@SowtheCity has a map of gardens across #Manchester that you can volunteer at, whatever your skill level! 👇
