This obscene practise is Canada’s shame. A good bill that would have ended this, died before third reading in the Senate because of prorogation. My hope is that the House of Commons passes a similar bill. I would be honoured to sponsor it again in the Senate.

Last night trucks were observed arriving at the Winnipeg International airport, transporting horses to be flown from there to Japan where they will be slaughtered
