I am mostly posting on instagram and tiktok these days. I am @farotherside on both sites, and basically everywhere else too.
the nice thing about working in the jungle is the total absence of ambiguity. if you feel something on your arm, you never have to wonder if it's a stray hair, or a breeze, or a bug. it is *always* a bug.
also hey twitter! if we haven't spoken in a couple of years, this is what I've been up to: farotherside.com
man, I don't know when cleaning monkey shit off of things became part of my job description, but that's twice this week so far. #junglemedic
you might be able to get me to move back onto land someday, but I don’t think I’m ever going to go back to cleaning the kitchen without using a shop-vac.

You have more followers than you think, but Signal is different. It's built for you even though we know nothing about you. #WeKnowNothing #DataPrivacyDay
pet peeve: 09:00PM is not a real time. 0900 and 2100 are real times, and 9:00PM is a real time, but not 09:00PM
I just grilled some sausages in a pan and one of them made a noise like lobster makes when you boil it and now I have questions
tfw when you grab your special ratcheting crimpers and climb the mast to do some electrical work, only to find out (at the top of the mast) that you grabbed the special ratcheting crimpers for RJ45 instead of the ones for electrical. #nerd
my new project website is live now: farotherside.com - feedback welcome!
huh, apparently twitter is still a thing...? third person this week to mention it, first people in six months. maybe it’s just the east coast?
well yeah, but when’s the last time *you* had to clean corrosion off an RJ45 connector with a steel brush?
wow. after almost three years neglected in a boatyard, I filled the gas tank on my Honda EU2000i generator and it started on the first pull.
