Today, we brought @gwizaapp to Kigeme Refugee Camp as our second community space for #NdashoboyeNaGwiza. We had an interactive session where we answered questions about Gwiza, Kataza group loan, and what it takes to get started.

Earlier today, we shared a special pitch-side moment with the Nyabiheke community as Nyabiheke FC played Kiryango FC. As part of the Kataza programme, MVend is proud to bring @gwizaapp closer to the communities we serve, meeting them where they are and being part of the things they enjoy. #NdashoboyeNaGwiza

Some places tell stories that must never be forgotten. Today, our team visited Ntarama Genocide Memorial to remember the lives lost during the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi and to reaffirm our responsibility to preserve memory and strengthen unity. #Kwibuka32

Three women. Different VSLAs. One platform. None of them had collateral. All of them had drive. Gwiza gave them a way to turn that drive into a credit history, and a credit history into a future. This Labor Day, we celebrate everyone whose hands are building something for themselves and their communities quietly, daily, without fanfare. Happy International Labor Day Rwanda. #TheHandsThatBuild #InternationalLaborDay

And then there's Valentine. A rice farmer. An employer. A dreamer. She was skeptical of digital finance. Paper records felt safer. But she and her fellow savings group members tried Gwiza, and her first loan of 84,000 RWF bought her something she couldn’t before: a rice plot that was entirely hers. The income from her own fields now funds her children’s school fees, household needs, and the health insurance of the 38 workers she employs. Her next goal? A rice processing plant for local and international markets. Watch her full story on our YouTube channel(youtube.com/@Thegwizaapp)

Meet Olive from Huye District. She wanted to start a business, but she had no collateral, no credit history, and no way in. Then she found a different door, she joined a savings group that uses Gwiza. Watch her full story on our YouTube channel(youtube.com/@Thegwizaapp)

Umuhoza was once too ashamed of her circumstances to move freely in her own community. Then someone told her she could save money using a mobile phone. She didn’t believe it at first, but she decided to start small. Her first loan was 20,000 RWF. She bought potato seeds, harvested enough to feed her family, and sold the rest at the market. Step by step, Umuhoza reinvested , from potato farming, to a pig, to livestock sales until she and her family combined their savings with a loan to purchase a cow worth 800,000 RWF. What once felt impossible became a milestone. Watch Umuhoza's full story on our YouTube channel(youtube.com/@Thegwizaapp)
