This year my son and I designed and 3D printed a working 6ft NES controller for people to play at @OpenSauceLive. It was a super fun project to work on together and the highlight of the weekend was getting to show it off to @ThePrimeagen and @DougDougFood .
50% off retail is the max I pay for home gym equipment off FB marketplace. Same day pickup and cash closes a lot of deals really quickly.
By far, the BIGGEST MISTAKE people make in building a garage gym is overlooking the 2nd-hand market.
Nearly all gym equipment you actually want has low complication and high durability.
- Cast iron weight plates, dumbbells, and kettlebells.
- 11-gauge steel tubing squat racks and benches.
- Rubber flooring made for 1,000lb horses.
- Cable machines with iron stacks and steel cabling.
All of this stuff is readily available from people who bought it brand new, stuffed it in their basement and RARELY used it.
Do not overlook the secondary market. Buy used. Often.
This is such a great idea. I have mine as a GitHub gist and just point my agent at it. Took 2 minutes to install all my @MacHomebrew packages, zsh config, and themes/config for Ghostty and @herdrdev

Just discovered MiniMax-H3 runs well on my M3 Ultra 96gb.
This is what happens when you give the kids a picture of their uncle and tell them to write a prompt.

To secure open-source software, we’re launching OSS Scanner.
We’ll use our frontier models to periodically scan opted-in open-source projects for vulnerabilities, at no cost. Our reports will provide a proof-of-concept, explanation, and suggested fix.
