@Naka1888c hi, assume you’re based in Albufeira, where is the best place to watch Celtic games please? Heading there at end of July, cheers

I thought you’d be enjoying what could be a pivotal weekend for Celtic in this title race Felix - I certainly am.
Now that you mention it, though…
Yeah, fan media is to blame for all the club’s ills, particularly:
The Celtic Board’s gross negligence, which has resulted in us failing to win 7/9 Champions League Qualifiers;
The inability to replace key players such as Kyogo or Kuhn for this season’s qualifier against Kairat;
Selling Adam Idah and replacing him with an injury-prone free agent after the transfer window closed;
Briefing tabloid media against our manager;
The embarrassing & reputationally damaging statement following the departure of Brendan Rodgers;
The archaic decision to let Martin O’Neill go, despite him clearly demonstrating that he was the best man for the job;
The Wilfried Nancy debacle;
Paul Tisdale’s cravats;
Stockpiling tens of millions of pounds, yet failing to spend a transfer fee during the most important window of the last five years;
Banning fans from the stadium during a period where the team needs every ounce of support it can get;
Allowing the stadium to fall into a state of disrepair due to negligence & parsimony;
Allowing a club that has lost nearly a million pounds every month for 14 years to catch and leapfrog us in the league;
Fail to manage the squad and its assets sufficiently, resulting in the loss of over £40m in transfer fees for players including Maeda, Yang & Engels;
Failing to have operational youth development, recruitment or data analytics departments;
Allowing someone with 34.7% of the shareholding to identify players & managers, whilst maintaining complete control of the football club, thus neutering an executive team who are paid millions to nod at his every whim.
It’s incredible what those pesky podcasters get up to, isn’t it?

Those points were put to Celtic by me in advance of the AGM. The disruption prevented an answer at AGM but in a follow up referring to the purpose of Celtic as set out in AGM paper the point was accepted and the Purpose will be revisited, Check docs.google.com/document/d/1… Retweet?

So the new fan engagement group, the @CFC_Collective, has just been formed and everyone should follow these guys. It'll be one of the principal channels for communications and news, and it's important that as many fans as possible get behind it.

"Mo Chara’s real problem is that the message he put out landed. Working-class people aren’t meant to speak like this, organise like this, or connect struggles across borders like this. That’s what scares them.
While Mo Chara stands in the dock for allegedly waving a flag, those complicit in a genocide walk the streets untouched. Since October 2023, over 60,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza – entire families erased, journalists targeted, children bombed in their beds.
More than 300 officials at the Foreign Office raised their concerns about Israel’s “stark … disregard for international law”. And yet, the UK government continues to greenlight arms deals and offer diplomatic cover. That’s not a performance. That’s a conscious policy decision. Made in Westminster, paid for by the taxpayer, and buried beneath silence.
They’ve tried this before. Give Ireland Back to the Irish – banned. Christy Moore – detained. The Pogues’ Streets of Sorrow – silenced for decades. And now, it seems to be Mo Chara – for turning protest into poetry, politics into art.
So here’s the question – the same one Pete Seeger asked, the same one Mo Chara asks now: Which side are you on?

“Tel Aviv isn’t safe”. Imagine if all the borders were shut and Israelis were told to go north. No, south. No, north. No, south. By foot. Carrying all their belongings. Carrying their children. While dodging snipers. As 2000lb bunker bombs were dropping. For 77 years.

More fans - no. More well known - doubt it. More relevant- depends how you measure it. Better ground - newer one yes. Doesn’t make you ‘bigger’ though. League - you’ll never win it but it’s higher quality yes. More income I’ll give you that but profitability?

Demanding an end to the killing of children in Gaza does not make you antisemitic. It does not make you a supporter of Hamas. It simply makes you human.
Don't be silent.
Don't be complicit.
Demand an end to the bloodshed and blockade of Gaza.

Beyond dispute, that was one of the all-time great performances by a Scottish club in Europe. Brendan Rodgers and Celtic within 15 seconds of taking Bayern Munich into the extra 30 minutes. Physically, tactically and strategically, Celtic were magnificent.

Why is it a living hell? Who bombed it, killing tens of thousands of people, including children, and reduced Gaza to rubble?
Also, what Trump calls "permanent resettlement" is what the rest of the world should call ethnic cleansing.
Gaza belongs to the people of Gaza. Period.
Trump impromptu presser in Oval Office with Netanyahu. Highly significant & extraordinary remarks as he says Palestinians should be ‘permanently resettled’. Says people could go to Egypt, Jordan and other countries. Says Gaza is like ‘living in hell’ & there can be a ‘beautiful area’ for Palestinians to resettle
This is 💯 % on the money. Please take the time to listen 👍🍀
