One of my biggest investements in 2023 was in email.
@hailleymari and I talked about this on MWW47, and then as I was writing this piece I realised I get on average a 100 messages a day across email, slack, whatsapp, messenger and text 😵💫
On MWW47 we talked about Habbi committing to Inbox Zero in 2023, and the investment project it took to get there. She gets a 100 messages a day, and in this 9-minute read she breaks down how she went from chaos to clariy 💌

INTROS: such a short email, so much that can get unlocked.
when I worked in tech, this was important to get right. now working in music – it's an integral daily part of the job.

it's a wrap on this year's Iceland Airwaves – and if you've ever wondered what my emails look like, @hailleymari and I talk about it in this latest episode of MakeWorkWork 🎙🦈

one of the most impactful one for me is the Strengthsfinder. this post is pretty personal, but I just really wanted to share how it's really helped clarify my thinking. makework.work/strengthsfinde…

travel is one of these things that has a tiny little million steps & it can be sooo stressful as they can be so hard to keep track of.
my workflow is to use the same checklist that I 100% TRUST. I love knowing that other people are using it also 🗺️😸✈️
The MakeWorkWork Travel Dashboard is a travel overview (bookings etc all in one place!) PLUS a travel checklist to make your trip streamlined and smooth ✈️

"Life without a design is erratic" said Seneca, referring to the chaos that ensues from not having a plan.
This is something that resonates so hard; the quality of my day is entirely dependent on one thing: do I feel organised, and like I have an overview of what's coming.

LOVED the Life Admin book by @ElizFEmens and had so much to say about it with @HrefnaHelga on @mworkwork.
h/t @thatbberg for the great book rec!
In this episode, the two co-hosts break down a listener-recommended book: Life Admin, exploring types of admin and if pleasure can ever be found in it! 👩💻 ✨📝 We swear — it’s not as boring as it sounds.

One of my biggest lifestyle improvements in the last few months was putting a bird feeder right outside my office window so now I see all these adorable birds all day 😍
