Hey everyone-- First, I wanted to say thank you for 12k. I never knew that I could build a platform this big, and it's from the work that I've done so I genuinely thank all of you for being here. Second, I wanna be transparent while also maintaining some of the intimate parts of my life: I went out of the country to pursue schooling for acting in the spring, and to say it was lifechanging is an understatement. I'm a professional actor in my real life, so the fact that I had that opportunity was incredible. The exact night I got home, I came to my home being destroyed by a massive leak that my complex just left in my place for 3 weeks. It was completely neglected and because of that, sewage got all into my place. I had to get rid of pretty much all of my personal belongings, some things spanning back to my earlier life, and other things that I can't replace. You've probably noticed the pacing of my work slowing down, and trust that it's not because I quit or don't care anymore - it's because I've been spending ever since July rebuilding my home and myself throughout all of this. I've been through a lot, and this is the 2nd most devastating thing I've experienced. Not only did I lose everything, but I've been separated from my beautiful cat who is my ESA. It's been really fucking hard. That being said, I'm happy to announce that I'll be back in my place come this weekend. With the help of some family and my close loved ones, I was able to get the place back to being livable. That means that I'll be able to regularly get back into my content and other platforms. I know I don't need to explain, and I'm really not - I'm omitting a lot of the gory details, but I've met such a genuine and kind community through this platform so I wanted to make it known. Much love to you all. Take care of each other, and I'll be back soon. Phoenix, xo 🐦‍🔥
