You are replaceable at work, but you are NOT replaceable at home. A beautiful and poignant reflection that applies to all clinicians.
Happy world family doctor day to all the amazing fam doc colleagues and co-residents who make Northern Ontario a fantastic place to learn and thrive! ♥️ proud to be a @thenosm lifer. 🏔️🏞️

So, during the pandemic I had a young angry man who chose not to be vaccinated. He was convinced that his youth and vigour along with some questionable supplements would keep him healthy. He took no precautions and actually attended a COVID party.
This is great, thanks for the helpful tips! Guilty of “computer rounding” before actually rounding myself 😬

Should #artificalintelligence be accountable to society?

We did it! 👩🏽⚕️🩺🎓 so glad to have been a part of @thenosm for med school and excited to stay with them as a family medicine resident. Honoured & grateful to @adambluedryden for hooding me! And a big TY to @ddsv3 for being a big inspiration to me and other WOC in medicine ♥️

The same is true in residency. As an intern you may occasionally feel brilliant like a second (or even third!) year, but will also sometimes do something silly and feel like a medical student again.
This ok — you’re not regressing. Give yourself grace.

It’s slow right now in the ICU, so here it is… the thread you’ve never seen before….
Tips for new interns.
