If you’re wondering why petrol prices aren’t coming down, why groceries are still painfully expensive, why healthcare costs keep rising, why the national debt keeps growing, why American farmers are struggling, why businesses are drowning in uncertainty, why the housing crisis remains unresolved, why the economy is losing confidence, and why America’s allies increasingly distrust Washington, don’t worry.
Your president spent the entire weekend writing angry essays about Bill Maher and raging at the country that refuses to give him the Nobel Peace Prize, squeezing it all in between his naps and rounds of golf, where even the scorecard apparently needed a little creative accounting.
Apparently, the nation’s most pressing emergencies are a comedian who hurt his feelings and a Scandinavian country that refuses to award him the world’s most prestigious peace prize.

If you watch one clip from Obama’s speech in Cleveland, watch this one.
OBAMA: He pulled out of the JCPOA, starts this war—Seven months later, six months after they declared victory, how's that war going?
Our allies and our bases have been attacked. Americans have been killed. Hundreds of Americans have been wounded. We have run down our stock of missiles. And Iran now has veto power over the strait of hormuz, where oil goes through to the world market.
This is the reason why the price of oil is up. Nobody disputes that. This is the reason the price of diesel is up. This is the reason why the price of just about everything is up.
Meanwhile, you got the defense secretary who's squarely focused on important matters: the jawlines and testosterone levels of our troops.
These are not serious people. And the problem is you end up having to pay the price for their lack of seriousness.

The appearance of Audi CEO Döllner at a Trump campaign event is being rightly condemned in the strongest possible terms by all segments of 🇩🇪 German society.
This is not because an Audi plant has been announced for the 🇺🇸 U.S., but because Audi is effectively engaging in propaganda for Trump and the Republicans, a political faction associated with what is, by far, the most corrupt U.S. administration in history, characterized by lawlessness, disastrous economic policy, warmongering, the undermining of democracy, and human rights.
I have often said that driving a particular vehicle brand is not a political statement, but Audi has now turned it into one.
A disgrace!

Concerning reports about @claudeai bypassing a paywall to access Georgia’s aggregate voter counts without human authorization.
This is particularly worrisome given the upcoming midterm elections and heightened fears about election interference.
This raises serious questions about human oversight and AI safeguards. We need transparency, accountability, and enforceable limits before failures create opportunities for interference or further undermine public trust in our elections.

WINTER PARK, Fla. — A 3-year-old boy was escorted off an i9 Sports youth soccer field by police after opposing parents complained he was holding the ball too long and "putting on a show."
In the same footage, adults are heard saying police were called "on the three-year-old, cause he’s too good" and "cause he have the ball for too long," and that "nobody else can get the ball."
According to video and statements from the child’s family, the incident occurred during a 2026 Fall Soccer League game on a grass field in Winter Park.
Family members described a huddle of opposing parents talking about the child. One parent states they typically stand apart from other adults and do not interfere or argue with them, adding that the boy "ain’t doing nothing but playing soccer."
An officer is visible on the field in the video; the family says the league issued a trespass notice and officers then asked them to leave in front of other children.
A screenshot shared by the family shows an i9 Sports refund confirmation email addressed to "Dear Don" for the "2026 Fall Soccer League - AM, Grass Field, Saturday" registration with the Seminole County/Winter Park franchise.
The message notes the refund has been processed and can be viewed under Registration History on i9sports.com. The organization’s slogan appears on the notice: "The Way Youth Sports Should Be."
i9 Sports and the Winter Park Police Department have not issued public statements confirming the details of the trespass.
