So proud of my son, his wife Chihiro, and my new grandson! Sad they are so far away in Osaka, Japan.
2023 was a difficult year for many, so I feel guilty saying this, but it was the most fulfilling of my life. Released Bayonetta Origins in March and on Dec.20 my son was born! 2024 brings new challenges, as a game designer and father. Ready to face them with this guy by my side

Excellent presentation at @editorsBC meeting by Alicia Smith, president @dyslexiaON @AliciaFromTiny about #dyslexia. Editors love to read, but did you know only 30% learn to read easily and 10-20% are dyslexic? Solution is #StructuredLiteracy. Change how reading is taught!

Brilliant, funny, and I learned what these kinds of puns are called!
For many years I’ve been collecting Tom Swifties and Croakers (lines of dialogue where a pun is used in reported speech). Here’s a thread of my favourites (some made up by me, some just plain stolen), beginning with this one… “I love camping,” Tom said, intently

Congratulations #EleanorCatton finalist UK's @TheOrwellPrize for Political Writing for her novel BIRNAM WOOD. Here's our conversation: cbc.ca/radio/writersandcompa…
The finalists for The Orwell Prize for Political Writing 2023 reveal what complex times we live in - even as the clarity of the storytelling offers a way through: from geopolitics & the overcoming of historical inequalities, to ideas for our shared future. Congratulations all!

This has been deleted, but I'd like to thank @peterjrainford for opening this door to some important points in this debate. First of all, this athlete was *RIGHTLY* disqualified because of the advantage gained by a car. Nobody who argues for fairness in sport would disagree...1/
