I’m convinced that the answer to every area of my life is not a better me, but a lesser me. And more of Jesus. – at Cabot, AR

The eye is the gate of the soul and the primary source of input for the mind. We should avoid unwholesome reading or viewing. We must particularly beware of modern entertainment media, which typically contain sensuality, immorality, and violence.
Three students/young adults challenging #ARHYC21. They spoke on being a “ready generation.” There’s something different about this generation.
Thankful for my Pastor & his family. Their leadership, example and friendship have greatly impacted my life, family and ministry. I honor @timgaddy & @stacygaddy today.

Hezekiah let Babylon in. He proudly showed off his spices, treasures and precious things. But, he overlooked his most precious thing; his children.
Babylon didn’t want his things. It wanted his children (Is. 39:7)
We must not let Babylon care more about our future than we do.
We must not be surprised when we consume the meal of a pagan, Babylonian king, that we end up looking and feeling like the pagan, Babylonian children.

During critical moments of decision and difficult seasons of disappointment, I've learned to stop and pray this question...
"Lord, what are you forming in me right now?"
Faith is deeply rooted in perspective. How I see myself impacts how I see the Lord. And how I see the Lord impacts what I believe He will do.
(1/2) As someone blessed to be involved with summer youth camps, let me encourage anyone ministering to students this summer:
- Pray, fast and preach the Word.
- Reject the temptation to be accepted and relevant.
- Be yourself.
