29 October 2026 | Telangana Hon’ble NCST Member Shri Jatothu Hussain conducted a review of tribal issues in School Thanda, Jagadamba Thanda, and Battu Thanda of Ramareddy Mandal, Kamareddy District. 28 October 2026 | Telangana Shri Jatothu Hussain, Hon’ble Member of the National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST), conducted a district-level review meeting with the District Collector, Superintendent of Police, and district-level officers from various departments in Nizamabad District to review the implementation of constitutional safeguards for Scheduled Tribes. During the meeting, the Hon’ble Member reviewed the implementation of constitutional safeguards, the protection of tribal rights, the status of tribal welfare and development programmes, and the grievances faced by Scheduled Tribe communities in the district. He emphasized the importance of effective interdepartmental coordination, strict implementation of constitutional and statutory safeguards, and timely redressal of grievances concerning Scheduled Tribes. During the visit, the Hon’ble Member interacted with the tribal residents and enquired about their issues, difficulties, and local living conditions.
