It was an honor to be the first Governor to sign the Planetary Action for Climate Change Resilience, an agreement authored in part by Climate Chief Melissa Hoffer and @UMassBoston Chancellor Suárez-Orozco. I’m thankful to Chancellor Suárez-Orozco for convening this summit as a member of the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences, and deeply grateful for the opportunity to share our progress and commitment to innovation with the rest of the world.

This week, I joined His Holiness @Pontifex, @MayorWu, @MSuarezOrozco, and other leaders at the Vatican Climate Summit.
The climate crisis is truly the global challenge of our time, but I’m confident that when we come together – when we listen, adapt, and grow together – we can find solutions that transcend borders and state and city lines. That is how we create a more just and equitable world, protect our planet, and heal our communities.

February is Black History Month, and we’re going to lift up the stories of the trailblazing Black Bay Staters who shaped our state. We’re also going to celebrate the history made every day, and keep moving toward a stronger, more equitable Massachusetts.
