I'm running research with AI product builders (PMs, designers, engineers) who are shipping features end to end to customers in production. $150 incentive, scheduling interviews this week. Who should I be talking to?

Spending a handful of days between Auckland and Tauranga ahead of Christmas with our 4 and 6 year olds. Welcome recs for those two spots, and anything in between. Beaches, bakeries, playgrounds, natural wonders of the world...

Pylon alternatives that give me CLI access to all our tickets / conversations? Bonus points for decent analytics.

Rebrands are almost always a bad idea. If you decide to make this bad decision you should also make sure to avoid: - Picking an ambiguous name you'll need to spell out every time it comes up in conversation (aka WOM) - Picking a name already trademarked in your category (broad - software / SaaS) - Buying a domain with an appended word on it to be able to get the .com (e.g. hibrandname or brandnameteam Competitor just hit the trifecta 🤦‍♂️

Love that despite having all the tokens in the world Anthropic doesn't fill their testflight updates with slop. Half the work is deciding what to even do, and given their pace of releases adding anything more here is a waste of time.

If you're spending a bunch of cycles trying to figure out why you keep exceeding token limits, and need a better sense of "pacing" I can't recommend @antiburn_ai enough

New Claude docs are so sick. Ultimate collaboration space.

Running out of tokens is God's way of telling you to go and touch grass.

Having one of those days where I may be doing brilliant, impactful work; or idiotic wasteful work. It's hard to tell.

So surprised by this! We use and love Pulley. Would gladly pay more for it. Is this Carta acquiring it to shut it down or something else? Hoping the founders step up this morning with some more tranparency.
Wow, sad day. Pulley is shutting down, looks like Carta is picking up the business / referral engine. As a former-AngelList-er, I still do not grok how these businesses run unprofitably and have high hopes for a new entrant who will take down the cap table giants

One of the things I'm enjoying most about writing code is finding small areas to tend like a garden over time. Learning more about the nature of the code and the interfaces, finding and slowly burning down UX debt, defining new patterns and bring in existing ones, making it prettier piece by piece. Harder for me to make systemic changes but I can highlight how we might do that, and create mini proof of concepts for how we can level up.

Favourite new skill: /gauntlet It takes our internal harness' /code-review skill, adds the /team-review skill I created by simulating the types of feedback I get on PRs from everyone in eng, does /security review, an anti-ai-writing-slop and anti-ai-design-slop pass, then a final Codex antagonistic review. The cost of each round trip on a PR review is expensive, the more I can reduce those round trips the better. I can still do more targeted reviews at different stages, but nice to have a catch all.

Do I know anyone who is regularly running loop engineering on a production codebase? I have a couple questions.

Best interior design apps folks have used? Out of codex tokens so figure I might as well spread the love a bit and hopefully find something great

Dreamt I ran out of Claude credits and had to design something the old fashioned way.
