Welcome, new folks! You should probably start here, with our prologue episode:
buzzsprout.com/695134/228467…
There's a sound that the ship makes. @Whispering_hour calls it the ship-heart. And even though very little of this story has been on the ship, somehow many of us - cast and fans - find it comforting.
I'm listening to it now.
They make beautiful art and come up with weird ideas and get sappy and sweet and yell at me for making them cry.
I didn't mean to write myself a home, but I did, and this is its sound, And it turns out a bunch of other people like this home too.
If you read all this and thought "I want to go to there," the good news is that you can. And you can get the ship-heart in your ears too.

Which ship is the one you want for yourself? (Note: ships can be platonic!)

This #AudioDramaSunday since we just released it I'd like to talk for a moment about the editing and sound part of putting an episode, and THIS episode of @needsanamepod together. There are mild sound effect related spoilers below so continue at your own risk!

The transcripts are linked in the shownotes, but I'll link them here too. We use google docs, and comments are turned on, so if you spot an error in the transcript, feel free to add a comment!

This is amazing! Check out the whole thread for more work by @starplanes - it's all lovely. And yes, Tal, it counts as fanart. 😁

I always love seeing a new person find us - welcome to the Nameless Planet! - but this one's extra sweet because @WhatWillBeHere just dropped, and it's a labor of love created by dear friends. And I helped!
been on a bit of an existential sci-fi kick tonight so I listened to @WhatWillBeHere and @needsanamepod ‘s first episodes and YES???? THEYRE SO GOOD???? going right on my “sci-fi for troubling times” list. There’s such charming characterization and great emotion in both shows!
This is such a lovely recommendation! @queer_elf_club, Quill gets a shout 💙
Trying something a little different for #audiodramasunday! This week, we’re recommending @needsanamepod!
