The DNC is forcing the American people to accept Jeffries & Schumer in the same way it tried to force the people to accept Kamala Harris and Hillary Clinton.

The amount of pro-establishment democrat revisionism I've been seeing over the past 24 hours almost feels like a psy-op. Chuck Schumer endorsed two (2) candidates: One, Janet Mills, lost that Maine primary you point out. The other, Haley Stevens, lost and endorsed a republican.
Schumer flipped literally every seat that was actually difficult. Leftists flipped...Maine, a blue state, in the biggest blue wave of my lifetime. Schumer won Mississippi, Iowa, and probably Alaska. Leftists won zero elections that anyone with a pulse and a D next to their name wouldn't have taken down

it is a coordinated media effort. every major outlet is crediting schumer and jeffries for the victories. people protested and begged them to fight back for the last two years. the party bosses didn’t listen. remember the shutdown? they are the only two politicians less popular than trump atm

We literally can’t afford to do this
Chuck Schumer forgets the name of "Iowa" while taking credit for the Iowa wins.

The Republican Party will be resurrected like a phoenix in 2028 if these fucking worms spend the next 2 years enabling the current administration
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries said that his party is “ready, willing and able to find bipartisan common ground” in order to work with Republicans on the ongoing affordability crisis. abcnews.visitlink.me/ymEF7Q

Controlled opposition party:
His first response to a Democratic landslide that he had little to do with is to bleat about finding ‘bipartisan common ground’. Do you think Republicans would be talking about bipartisanship if they had just secured the biggest House majority for decades? Sigh.

I’m gathering the data and will put out a thread later on how our @Leaderswedeserv candidates preformed but as many of you already know the idea that moderates always over preform is not nearly as clear cut as the moderates would like you to think. Just one example- here’s how our Texas state leg candidate @JulioForRGV did in the RGV

For those too young to remember, not only is Glenn right about this, but Obama further enshrined Bush's worst civil liberties transgressions. And even took them a step further with extra-judicial killing.
In 2006, Dems won a massive midterm victory due to anger over the Iraq War and Bush's unpopularity. The assumption was they'd end the war. Pelosi's first act when elected Speaker was to say they won't defund the war: in part due to cowardice over the political fallout, in part because so many Dems ideologically opposed ending the war, in part because they wanted to run in 2008 with the Iraq War still ongoing to help them win the WH. Does anyone think the Dems will now use control of the Senate and House to just de-fund the war, as they clearly have the power to do?

I called my Representative and Senators and told them that they should oppose Jeffries and Schumer for leadership roles. It took five minutes, please do the same. Here's a simple script for you: "Hello, my name is [your name, then spell it], I’m a constituent in [zip code]. I want [Representative/Senator Name] to oppose [Jeffries/Schumer] in leadership for the new Congress and support someone new. We need new blood and stronger leaders for this once in a generation opportunity that we have." You can find your reps and their numbers here: congress.gov/members/find-yo…

Jon Stewart on Chuck Schumer: “Someone has to meet this moment. You have an opportunity to actually govern. One of the first things you need to do is remove that system of seniority from Democratic politics. It’s a bullshit system and it needs to go. Chuck Schumer fought tooth and nail against half of these fucking people. He does not understand the urgency of the moment and what the future demands”

No wake-up call can be loud enough for these two: Schumer: "We'll see if [Trump] will actually change his ways and join.” Jeffries: “The American people don’t want us to get even.”

Voters rejected the Dems in 2024 because the president was a senile warmonger who was callously indifferent to their economic suffering. Voters rejected the GOP in 2026 because the president is a senile warmonger callously indifferent to their economic suffering. The first party that picks a different type of president can win a lasting governing majority.

Jennifer Welch: “I want to say this Chuck Schumer: we won in spite of you and we will do everything on this channel, everything, to make sure that you are not the Senate Majority Leader. You do not represent us. You’ve made it crystal clear who your loyalties are to. What you did to Angie Nixon, I will never ever forgive you. Quit taking victory laps on Twitter like you won this. Nobody likes you”

WRONG ANSWER FUCKER
Hakeem Jeffries on Morning Joe: The American people don't want us to get even. They want us to get things done on their behalf because life is way too expensive. We ran on affordability, we won on affordability, and now it's our job to govern on affordability.

Last night’s results were a mandate for results and responsibility, not reckless revenge. From Congress to statehouses, electoral victories are not blank checks. They are obligations. Americans expect us to pull this country back from the abyss, not get hypnotized by impeachment, turn oversight into engagement bait, or confuse political theater with governing. Affordability, accountability, safer communities, stronger schools, and functioning institutions. The mandate is to deliver, not just to win.
