I am so angry for my disabled students. So many come to office hours to tell me about how the were turned away from jobs, told not to pursue certain coursework and careers, and told they're not a good "fit" for internships. These are goddamn brilliant kids. 1/3
Sounds a lot like grad school to me

Hello, it's me, a postdoctoral student. A student with a whole PhD, 11 first author publications, teaching classes of 200+ students at a time. A mere student. I hope I get an A in being a postdoc.

This doesn't look like good faith bargaining by UC. It is recruitment season for new grad students to our labs. They see what is happening. How am I supposed to recruit new students when they see current ones ask for enough money to pay rent and eat, and UC responds "lol no." 2/
