Replying to @Tesla
@Tesla Shmesla. @Alef the flying car had the same fake ass video launch four years ago in Silicon Valley at Draper U! lol

Alef, the flying car. Unveiled 10/20/22 youtu.be/xA1K8oVmTo8?is=nBKG… via @YouTube
Hoped to find someone going on an actual ride in this car. Same old video news. No reporter went on a ride, but they did report on seeing the actual car fly. That is something…

Now they actually have a flying car… though it looks like it would fall apart if you kicked it instagram.com/reel/DelpUjCGG…

Andrej Karpathy spent 8 years at OpenAI and Tesla
Last week he compressed everything he knows into one free 2-hour lecture
Agents → Loops → Harness → Graphs
People spend $15k on bootcamps that teach less than this
You probably don't have 2 hours right now
Don't let it vanish from your feed
Watch it, then read the graph engineering guide below
Andrej Karpathy just rewrote the rules of using LLMs:
"Prompting is going away. Delete everything, keep Graph."
He dropped his full 2-hour course from Stanford on "Graph-Native Research"
• 00:00 - Intro to Graph systems
• 01:08:09 - LLMs architecture
This Karpathy course can replace a $100K Yale LLM senior degree.

Well, sometimes. Other times I am yelling at ChatGPT to do what I effing told it to do the first time around. Lol
Still, grateful that ChatGPT remembers a lot of the complex stuff I am sorting through and thinking about.
Then there’s that other question.
chatgpt work is remarkable, and "work" undersells it.
from my phone i sent:
"use all my chat history to figure out ideas for a long weekend trip with 8 friends, plan the best three options, make a full-stack site where the 9 of us can coordinate on what we would want to do in each place and decide where to go, and then after we get to group agreement make reservations. draft an email in my gmail i can send out to my friends when the site is ready."
it...just worked.
Boris Cherny, Head of Claude Code at Anthropic:
"I do not prompt Claude anymore. I have loops running that prompt Claude. My job is to write loops."
The person who built the most used AI coding tool stopped prompting entirely. Most people using it every day are still typing one request at a time.
This Github repo changes that.
↳ Seven production loop patterns with real token cost estimates
↳ CLI that scaffolds your entire loop in five minutes
↳ Starters for Grok, Claude Code, Codex, and Opencode
The repo gives you the framework.
My article covers the mental shift that makes it actually work.

A father asked Karpathy what to teach his 8-year-old before AGI. the answer erased 80% of the school curriculum.
math, physics, CS. everything else - tack it on later, if at all.
Most parents optimize their kid's schedule around grades and never notice they're funding the parts of the brain that stop mattering the day AGI ships.
grooves get harder to carve every year past 10.
the 8-year-old who learns physics processes reality differently at 30 than the one who didn't.
after AGI, information is a commodity. cognitive shape is not.
you're not choosing your kid's grades. you're choosing the brain they'll carry for the next 60 years.
16 minutes. free. changed what i'd tell any parent asking about school today.

For my first post, I’m sharing a letter @NVIDIA signed on why open models matter.
AI will transform every industry, power every company, and be built by every country.
Open models strengthen safety and cybersecurity, accelerate innovation and diffusion, and enable sovereignty.
The world needs both frontier closed models and frontier open models.

🚨Anthropic just showed a 24-minute workshop on how to actually do prompts for Claude.
Taught by the people who built it.
Free. No registration. No paywall.
I've seen $300 courses that don't cover what they teach in the first 8 minutes.
