Ex-NBA Star Paul Pierce ‘Drowning Financially,’ Struggling to Pay Monthly Bills tmz.com/2026/10/27/paul-pier…

I watched him play last night buddy shot the ball 5 straight possessions (made 1) while Ty Jerome just had his way with him. Vets not gonna respect that, and nobody gonna wanna play with him.
As I’ve noted before, I regularly post about art, photography, music, media, etc, etc. No one complains. But politics… oh no! Also it’s hilarious.

How is this basketball news? When you do post you show what a woke joke you are.
I’ve suggested exactly that. No idea it will work but Wagner and Wolf - only players taller than him other than two-way Grant Nelson - are not what you want or need. Clowney has the height, wingspan and physical tools. He has not shown consistency
Then the Clowney question is just a minutes question. The shot hasn't shown up, 43.3% effective FG through 3 games. The rim stuff has. Opponents are shooting 62.5% at the rim when he's the closest defender, and Brooklyn is 3.3 points per 100 better with him on the floor. No Long Island option, so stop asking him to space the floor at the 4 and make him the backup 5 behind Sharpe.
I know Nets were very high on Wilson.
I think OKC after today’s news is unlikely to be trading away depth. Also OKC has more firsts than Nets, 15 to 13. They don’t need any more. Serious trade discussions usually don’t take place till December 15. Can happen but it’s rare.

Both picks would be in the 20's anyway. Also keep in mind that the Thunder gave up the Rockets first, which ended up being the 22nd pick and some seconds for Jared McCain. Because of that, I'd trade away either the Rockets swap worst or the Knicks pick for Thomas Sorber.
Hi! This is more than fair. I'll defer to your knowledge & expertise on this, but since the dream played in the big arena & scheduled dates there before, would it have been fair to assume that they'd do it again, especially with it being their first home playoff games since 2018?
I'm down to hit the wnba when warranted, but the nba schedule was done in August so adam silver & friends had all year to schedule games in W cities that wouldn't conflict with the finals. They did it for NY, Minnesota, LA & Washington w/o issue. Should've done the same 4 atlanta

Come on Saint… There were many fans killing Marks for not giving him 100 plus millions when he was having the 40 point games. You know who they are

The #NBA season has just started, and some fan bases could be close to hitting the panic button. Some teams have started the season with low expectations.
The Sacramento Kings and Brooklyn Nets are 0-3, but those fans knew what they were getting into. Some franchises came in with championship aspirations, but now they’re wondering if this could be a nightmare season.
It’s really early in the season, and teams could still be shaking off the rust. Teams like the New York Knicks and San Antonio Spurs are coming off long playoff runs, so they might need some extra time.

Mark Cuban’s sale of the Mavericks has long been reported as being at a $3.5B valuation, though I’ve consistently reported $3.9B. Here, though, he says the valuation was $4.3B.
Mark Cuban reveals why he ultimately sold the Dallas Mavericks after buying the team for $285 million and selling it for $4.3 billion
"It went from being about basketball to being about valuations. And it went from, 'Hey, I love basketball and this is all about basketball,' to the NBA being more about, 'Okay, how much are these teams worth?'"
"In order to compete, you had to be good at real estate and things that had nothing to do with basketball."
"I never thought I would sell, but then things changed around me and I guess, you know, having kids changed me as well."

The WNBA, just like any league, is worth watching to the people who care about it. There are people who don't watch the NFL or NBA because they don't those sports. Sports leagues should be doing what they can to improve, but some of this criticism just doesn't hold weight.

Every time I see the Chrysler Building lit up at night, I'm amazed that something this elegant was finished on the eve of the 1929 crash.
Its 185-foot spire was secretly assembled inside the crown and raised in about 90 minutes, just to beat 40 Wall Street. To me, it's still the most beautiful skyscraper ever built.
Do you agree?
