It was a crazy @ployball_fun game! Different formations, tactical game, interceptions and luck.. and the craziest part - 3 penalties, 2 of them was saved by the keeper! My entry @loadoutprotocol hackathon! Years ago I played a football tactics game I loved. One day it shut down. Forever. A year ago I tried to rebuild it. It took me 2-3 weeks, and the first version was... honestly, awful. This week I rebuilt it from scratch in 3-4 days with Claude Code. Meet brand new PloyBall ⚽♟️ Everything was built with Claude: the code, the rules, the lessons and onboarding, the promo videos, the landing page. It's a whole new game. Only the core idea is left from the old one, and it's so much better. What an amazing experience. What I shipped during the hackathon 🛠️ • Whole game rebuilt fully onchain on ICP • Email + passkey sign-in, or a wallet on Base, Robinhood Chain or Solana • New rules: player roles, stay and tackle, off balance, line-up penalties, new odds • Team colours, formations, player looks and pitch styles • Lobbies, private invites and live games to watch • New match page with turn playback and sounds • Glicko-2 rating, monthly + all-time leaderboards • Team cards with match replays • How to play guide + 6 lessons • Practice vs the Rookie Bot • Promo videos and a brand new landing page The best part: thanks to ICP, players sign in with just an email or a passkey. They don't even need to know what crypto is. That's huge for a game. We're going outside the crypto bubble, to reach players on lots of other platforms. What excites me most in crypto: self-sustaining systems. ⚙️ Systems that live by their own rules. Nobody can change, stop, or rug them. Not even the author. ━━━━━━━━━━ 🪙 The problem 99% of crypto systems are just tokens. A token is a contract that stores balances per wallet. It can't see the outside world, can't call an API, can't react to anything real. Oracles were supposed to fix this, but most only deliver prices. 🖥️ "Just use your own server" That kills the whole idea. A server is a single point of failure. You can switch it off, swap the data source, mint what shouldn't be minted. Even if you're honest, the project dies the day you walk away. ━━━━━━━━━━ 🚀 That's finally changing. 3 real options: → ICP: canisters make HTTPS calls natively → NEAR: off-chain code in TEEs, controlled by a smart contract → Chainlink CRE: Go/TS workflows on the oracle network, results to any chain. Full Solana support landed this month. ✅ Anyone can verify the code ✅ Anyone can verify the author can't change it ✅ It runs as long as it's funded, with or without you Trustless. Rug-proof. Any chain. 🔒 I think this is the next meta: tokens as real economic systems, not just balance sheets. Building a few of these now. Will share soon. 👀

Yesterday I discovered that #NEAR has quite good tech, and that's the second chain I know after ICP that is capable of implementing whole GM Coin architecture fully onchain (or it's more correct to say trustless and verificable). Today I see #ICP claims that #NEAR stole part of their tech.. 🍿🍿🍿
