Today, I attended the Retreat of the Commonwealth Heads of Government (CHOGM), held in Jumbo Bay Island, Antigua and Barbuda. The retreat was chaired by Prime Minister Gaston Browne, with the presence of Commonwealth Secretary General Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey.
We discussed about the global situation and the implications for the Commonwealth, the readmission of Zimbabwe within our community, as well as the host of the next CHOGM in 2028.
