United States Patent and Trademark Office @uspto Attorney Advisor Ms Holly B. Lance accompanied by @USEmbassyKenya Specialist Ms Faith Ngaii today paid a courtesy call on KECOBO's Ag. Executive Director George Nyakweba who was accompanied by the Board's management team. The two parties held discussions on matters of mutual interest including IP-related matters, the progress the country in modernizing the Copyright Law to address emerging technologies, the country's ratification of the WIPO Copyright Treaty (WCT) and WIPO Performances and Phonograms Treaty (WPPT) among many other issues. The officials promised that the US Government will continue supporting the IP sector in the country.
