Your AI track is a banger. Can you actually release it?
I built "Can I Release This?" to check AI tool rules, compare distributors, and flag unanswered questions
Free. No account. No audio upload.

Anyone in Phoenix / Tempe, Arizona? 👀
Our music video is an AI Film 3 finalist! It screens at Pollack Tempe Cinemas on September 17 or 18
We can’t make it in person, so here’s the trade: our free finalist ticket in exchange for taking a few photos and videos of our screening
I did not make $500K from Suno prompts
We built an AI-music catalog that earned $60K+ and reached 20M+ streams in one year
$500K is the upper end of an internal valuation scenario for the catalog. It is not revenue, cash, or an offer
Every arrow hides a system: positioning, selection, metadata, rights, distribution, payouts, analytics
Cheap production creates more output. More output makes taste and judgment scarcer
The bottleneck moves to choosing, shipping, and compounding
I burned $25,974 in AI tokens at API prices.

Sketch coding > vibe coding
There's a new kind of coding I call "sketch coding", where you fully give in to the canvas, embrace red markers, and forget that the code even exists. It's possible because the agents (e.g. Claude Code w Fable 5) are getting too good. Also I just scribble on the Excalidraw diagram by hand so I barely even touch the keyboard. I ask for the dumbest things like "move this menu item to the top" written right on the block because I'm too lazy to find the file. My scribbles just disappear when it's done, I don't read the diffs anymore. When something breaks I just circle it in red with no comment, usually that fixes it. The code grows beyond my usual comprehension, I just look at the diagram instead. Sometimes the agent can't read my handwriting so I just draw the arrow thicker until it goes away. It's not too bad for a production website with real users, but still quite amusing. I'm building a real product, but it's not really coding - I just draw stuff, circle stuff, and scribble stuff, and it mostly works.
Your intelligence isn't fading.
It's moving out, onto a server you rent by the month.
Every task you hand to AI is one rep your brain never does.
Think before you prompt.
Write before you paste.
Decide before you ask.

1/ Pope Leo XIV just published Magnifica Humanitas, a major encyclical on AI.
The point is not “AI bad.”
It is sharper:
technology is not neutral;
human limits are not defects;
AI must serve the person, not quietly replace the person.
4/ Attention.
Memory.
Judgment.
Taste.
Original thought.
These do not disappear in one dramatic collapse.
They thin out quietly, one skipped rep at a time.
MIT, 2025. 54 people wrote essays, half with ChatGPT. Brain scans: the AI group had the weakest neural connectivity. Then they removed the AI and asked them to quote one sentence of their own essay. They couldn't.
The paper is Kosmyna et al., MIT Media Lab, EEG, preprint. The exact percentages and the recall delta are on the research page. The point that matters is the shape: offloading without consolidation, daily, with no end
