Played in this festive medieval tithe barn with my mandolin orchestra today. A lovely start to the holiday.
Enjoying the extra few days of our extended half term but several times today I’ve had a horrible feeling that I got it all wrong and I’m supposed to be at school. Not helped by reading all the back to school posts on here.

Been trying slow PPQs with Y13 to try and deal with some of the common issues they have with exam technique.
1. RTFQ - give the blurb minus the questions & do a goal free activity. Write everything you can tell me from this information. Works well as a think/pair or with MWB 1/
3. To avoid giving general but otherwise totally correct chemistry therefore 0 mark answers, highlight specific info in Q that needs to be referred to e.g. chemical species
As someone who spends lots of time in our music department I see this all of the time 😊 music also did this for me as a child!!
