Unboxing the #iPhoneDuo is so easy, you can do it in the parking lot after you pick it up.
To my friends who got their shiny new iPhone Duo yesterday, welcome to the early adopter club! Some notes since you’re here:
1) There WILL be bugs.
New software, new hardware, both finally in the hands of the masses. Most will be fixed by software updates.
2) Physical recalls sometimes happen.
A lot of time, money, and engineering go into making products great, but real-world use sometimes reveals flaws. You opted into it because you believe in the potential. Don’t freak out if your device has to be replaced under warranty.
3) The crease is visible.
It’s physics, folks. Fold something and it creases. @apple has done an incredible job minimizing it, but in the right light, at the right angle, with the right background color you can see it. No big deal.
4) Enjoy it, quirks and all.
Don’t let internet outrage frame how you think. Just because someone went to the effort of finding a fringe case that can cause a catastrophic failure that you’ll never experience doesn’t mean it’s a bad product. It means people are looking for things to monetize complaining about. You do you, and enjoy your new phone.

We made the early morning trek to try and get a Duo. We weren’t very hopeful at first, but ended up being tenth in line. Was able to get my ideal config and all I had to do was get in line at 3:45 in the morning 😂 #iphoneduo

Early morning service appointment. Front lower lateral and compliance links shot. Cracked and torn badly. All four lower links replaced. Glad I dressed like a gremlin for the morning. Good news is full inspection revealed everything else is rock solid and healthy. This is my pre-coffee face.
