A perfectly good road has been ruined because work stopped half way through once the Independence Day Celebration at Maphisa ended in April.
Since then the road has been allowed to deteriorate and it is in far worse condition now than before work began on it.

UPDATE | One person was kiIIed, three others injured, and five excavators set on fire during vioIent clashes at Chenxi Mine, Site Four, in Shurugwi.
Police have confirmed that investigations are underway to establish what led to the vioIence and identify those responsible. The incident happened after security guards hired by the Chinese company tried to drive local miners away from its gold claims, sparking vioIent clashes between the two groups.
According to Nehanda Radio, the mine is linked to Collins Mnangagwa, son of President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
More details are expected as investigations continue.
