"On Wednesdays, we wear pink" Not one mean girl in this bunch at the First Judicial District Court in Santa Fe. District Court staff wears pink every Wednesday in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.   Judge T. ICYMI - Congratulations to retired Bernalillo County Metropolitan Court Judge Henry A. Alaniz (2011-2021) who was awarded the 2026 Diane F. Bosse Award for Excellence and Service in Bar Admissions by the National Conference of Bar Examiners! Judge Alaniz has been a member of the New Mexico Board of Bar Examiners for 16 years, and the Board Chair since 2022. Judge Alaniz has been engaged in the evolution of the New Mexico bar examination, including during New Mexico’s transition from a state-specific exam to the Uniform Bar Exam in 2016 and its adoption of the NextGen UBE in 2024, with a first administration planned for 2027.
