i genuinely have no desire to be rich so i can buy a rolex or a Lamborghini. i want to be rich so i can control my time and go to the gym at 3pm on a monday. sit at a cafe and relax for an hour on a rainy afternoon. so i can cook meals at home with fresh ingredients. spend on my family and friends without worrying about a budget. that's my idea of a rich life, not the fake consumerist idea shoved down my throat.

Now this is mind blowing Joe Rogan “Kids Wish Network: - They raised $127 million - They paid to solicitors $109 million - They spent percentage on direct cash - Aid to the actual kids is ONLY 2.5% - Look at the Cancer Fund of America. LESS THAN 1% went to the actual thing”

Highly attractive women are attracted to high intelligence, talented men. Not ripped only. Unconsciously they want to improve their genetics and know they already bring looks to the table.

A couple reflections on the quantum computing breakthrough we just announced... Most of us grew up learning there are three main types of matter that matter: solid, liquid, and gas. Today, that changed. After a nearly 20 year pursuit, we’ve created an entirely new state of matter, unlocked by a new class of materials, topoconductors, that enable a fundamental leap in computing. It powers Majorana 1, the first quantum processing unit built on a topological core. We believe this breakthrough will allow us to create a truly meaningful quantum computer not in decades, as some have predicted, but in years. The qubits created with topoconductors are faster, more reliable, and smaller. They are 1/100th of a millimeter, meaning we now have a clear path to a million-qubit processor. Imagine a chip that can fit in the palm of your hand yet is capable of solving problems that even all the computers on Earth today combined could not! Sometimes researchers have to work on things for decades to make progress possible. It takes patience and persistence to have big impact in the world. And I am glad we get the opportunity to do just that at Microsoft. This is our focus: When productivity rises, economies grow faster, benefiting every sector and every corner of the globe. It’s not about hyping tech; it’s about building technology that truly serves the world.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Microsoft's supporting paper, published in Nature, does not support the claim that they have created a topological qubit. nature.com/articles/s4158… Peer reviewers of the Nature paper expressed concern that the paper misleadingly implies that a topological qubit was demonstrated or otherwise achieved: static-content.springer.com/esm/art%3A10.1…

if you’re going to be anything, BE A DO-ER. do what you say you’re gonna do, and do it at an incredibly high quality. don’t be the person that needs to be followed up with 3+ times on everything. be the person a manager doesn’t think twice about after delegating a project.

Jesus taught his sermons in Aramaic, but the Gospels were first written in Greek. Can a translation of His words still be 100% the word of God? How does that work? 🤔

🇦🇪 Arab businessman Chaiba: People in the West pay 40%, 50% or 60% in taxes, I call them stupid. It turns out that they work five, six or seven months a year for free. Why? For the lack of security? For average education? For below average healthcare? Why do we need these taxes?

God gives you more when you’re grateful. If you’re not getting what you want it’s because you’re not grateful. Simple as that. And the second you become ungrateful God will take it all away from you in a split second and then some. This is not on some motivational bs, I’m speaking from experience.

Life is one big troll. Cautious fools drop like flies. Parents who constantly yap about parenting have the worst little gremlins. The busiest people always quickest to reply. The most organized desks belong to the most disorganized minds. Etc.

We urgently need help from @patrickc and @stripe. A $300K hold was placed on one account with only a 0.19% dispute rate, and another account received a chargeback warning despite having 0% disputes. Even though we’re using @chargeblast RDR alerts to prevent chargebacks, Stripe’s Risk team isn’t recognizing them correctly and shut us down. We can’t even refund customers on the first account, which is causing disputes to escalate. This hold is an existential risk to our business. Please escalate this internally.
