The blue that cost more than gold. Real ultramarine came from lapis lazuli mined in the mountains of what's now Afghanistan and carried to Europe. Painters saved it for what mattered most. A cheap synthetic arrived in the 1820s.

Cannabis is a motherfucker, but the way it treats you depends heavily on your mental state.
It hits differently when you’re financially comfortable and actually in control of your habit.
When you can afford it without messing up your responsibilities, and you can go weeks without smoking because you genuinely don’t feel like it.
But being broke and dependent on weed is a different kind of hell. You’re spending money you don’t have, neglecting shit you should be taking care of, putting your life on pause and becoming even more dependent on the very thing you’re using to escape your reality.
