261022 Jaemin’s Rabbit and Cat radio📻 🌱: I have a question for Jaemin, who’s good at cooking. Since the beginning of this year, I’ve been making a bento lunch for my husband everyday, but somehow, I always end up using thesame side dishes. Tamagoyaki, sausages, and karaage (Japanese fried chicken) are my regular staples. For the remaining gaps, I fill them with whatever I have on hand. My husband tells me that this is more than enough, but I’d still like to expand my repertoire a little. 🌱: If you were in my husbands shoes, Jaemin, what kind of side dishes would make you happy to find in your lunch box? I’d love to use your suggestions for future reference. I’ll always support you, Jaemin! I love you so, so much! 🐰: That’s right, isn’t it? It’s all about having a wider variety of dishes. But honestly, what you’re making is already more than enough! If there’s rolled omelet and even karaage in there, that’s plenty. Please trust your husband when he says, “This is more than enough.” 🐰: And the most important thing is that the person making the food can keep doing it without putting too much pressure on themselves. Personally, though, I’d be happy if there were some of those little Korean meatballs in my lunchbox! And even with your usual rolled omelet, just adding carrots or green onions could give it a slightly different feel, don’t you think? Try experimenting little by little, starting with small changes.
