Quick one on Polymarket - this bet on Variational DEX looks seriously mispriced right now.
@variational_io is currently doing around $2B in daily perp volume, sitting 5th on DefiLlama's perps leaderboard with nearly $1B in open interest. They've already handed out millions in loss refunds and built real traction in a market where on-chain derivatives are eating CEX share fast. And that's not taking into account the fact that the team still has to deploy a bunch of new features.
The Polymarket for “FDV above $800M one day after launch” is trading Yes at exactly 50 cents - implying just a coinflip chance. With the kind of volume they're pulling (top players like Hyperliquid and Lighter launched at multi-billion FDVs in similar conditions), $800M feels way too conservative for a 2026 TGE.
I'm long Yes here. Market volume is still low at ~$40k total, so prices could shift quick once more eyes land on it.

"A newly-formed entity formed by an entity affiliated with Atlas Merchant Capital LLC (“Atlas”), an affiliate of Paradigm Operations LP (“Paradigm”), and additional sponsors (all together, the “Sponsors”), to transform its business by building a reserve of HYPE, the token of the Hyperliquid Layer-1 blockchain."
"At the closing of the Business Combination, the newly-created entity is to be named Hyperliquid Strategies Inc (“HSI”), which is expected to hold approximately 12.6 million HYPE tokens, representing $583 million in value (based on the spot price of HYPE shortly before the signing of the Business Combination Agreement) and gross cash invested of at least $305 million, for a total assumed closing value of $888 million. The transaction includes participation by prominent strategic investors, including Paradigm, Galaxy Digital, Pantera Capital, D1 Capital, Republic Digital, and 683 Capital. HSI is expected to remain listed on the Nasdaq Capital Market (“Nasdaq”) under a new ticker symbol and become a public cryptocurrency treasury company upon the closing of the Business Combination."
