Racism didn’t magically end in America with the civil rights movement folks.
The reason why the call and movement for BLM arose yet again and the struggle continues
As calls for justice for Nolan Wells and Kohen Wiley spread from student walkouts at HBCUs and campuses in the South to mass rallies in New York and Atlanta, Mississippi-based organizer Marquell Bridges (@marquell_bridges) says families cannot expect justice from a state government built on deeply racist roots:
“Our governor, Tate Reeves, was seen in a picture with Confederate flags, at Nazi parties and in blackface,” he told BT Live's @raniakhalek and @zoeescribe. “These people are the Klan…. The rest of the world moved forward, but nothing ever changed in Mississippi.”

Famine Declared in Yemeni City of Taiz Amid Houthi Siege democracynow.org/2026/10/30/…
Don’t lose sight of who this is all for: the children of Palestine.
Israel has killed over 21,000 children over the course of 3 years of genocide. Adam Zagout was 10 years old when Israeli forces murdered him. Sabreen Jouda was just 5 days old. Their names deserve to be remembered—but more than that, their stories must fuel our pursuit of justice.
As Israel continues its daily killing, shout out to @macklemore and to everyone using their platforms to demand an end to Israel’s genocide and justice for Palestinian children.

They’ve lost homes and loved ones
Let’s not let them lose food, too
Abdaleaziz Khadra is a 20-year-old from Gaza who was studying and working in design, video editing, programming, and photography before the genocide disrupted his education and destroyed his family’s home. He lived with his parents and younger siblings, whose education and daily needs he helped support, until repeated displacement forced the family into a tent in southern Gaza under ongoing bombardment. During the displacement, Abdaleaziz was arrested by Israeli forces and later released after experiencing torture, poor conditions, and a lack of adequate food, leaving him with ongoing physical and psychological health problems, including recurring infections and untreated shrapnel injuries that require surgery. Despite his condition, he continues helping others in Gaza by distributing food parcels and donating blood when possible. His family now faces severe shortages of food, clean water, medical care, sanitation, and shelter, while his younger siblings struggle with hunger and malnutrition. They are seeking support for medical treatment, daily survival needs, and a chance to rebuild their lives after losing their home, education, and sense of stability.
The RSF militia (backed by the UAE) has plunged Sudan into darkness after launching a massive campaign targeting electricity grids throughout the entire country. The drones are coming from Ethiopia directly. In a country that is already devastated by war.

Shut down genocide and the genocide economy.
It’s starts with you choosing to not BUY non necessary goods, services etc that support those crimes. M
Do what you can ! Be consistent as possible. Consumer boycotts work !
:(
May Allah forgive his sins, provide him with protection from the hellfire and a wide well lit grave. Ameen

Francesca Albanese, UN Special Rapporteur for the Occupied Palestinian Territory, took to the stage at Macklemore’s Paris stop as part of his Free Palestine Tour, calling for solidarity and collective action.
She asked the crowd to raise their phone lights in tribute to Palestinian children, reworking the slogan "Bismillah, c'est les ténèbres", which went viral during recent French high school student protests, to "Bismillah, c’est la lumière”.

New: Proton, the company behind ProtonMail, emailed staff to say it will be 're-interviewing' workers about how they use AI. The implication is, if you're not using AI, or won't learn, you may lose your job. “These re-interviews are consequential,” a leaked email seen by 404 Media reads.
