Exciting news! After two years, NOvA is taking neutrino data from the NuMI beamline again! Here is a beautiful event from the first few days of our run. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has worked hard to make this happen!
Huge congratulations to Prof. Francis Halzen on being named the 2026 Nobel Prize laureate for physics.
@uw_icecube is a fantastic experiment that has produced extraordinary results over the last 16 years, and we're excited to see what comes next. An excellent reminder that neutrinos are an amazing probe of the Universe!
Fermilab has an article out on our new spokesperson, Linda Cremonesi! news.fnal.gov/2026/06/linda-…
Today in PRD we have a publication describing the first ionization-based search for magnetic monopoles in NOvA using more than seven years of data collected with the Far Detector. See the publication here: journals.aps.org/prd/abstrac…
To identify such rare signatures in the presence of nearly 150 kHz of cosmic-ray background, the Far Detector employs a data-driven monopole trigger that continuously searches for these characteristic event patterns within the cosmic flux.
That's a wrap on #neutrino2026! We had a blast in California, see you at the next Neutrino in two years!
NOvA collaborators presented a huge number of posters at #neutrino2026 at University of California, Irvine this week.
This morning, Zoya Vallari (@OhioState @OhioStateNews) presented NOvA's latest results to a packed room at #neutrino2026. See the slides here: indico.global/event/15740/co… 📸 Georgia Nissen, Adam Lister
We have new deep dives on our three-flavour oscillation results, new world-leading limits on sterile neutrinos, ...

Interested to know what NOvA and JUNO might be able to say about the neutrino mass ordering when JUNO releases results? You can look into our crystal ball 🔮 at this website, nova-nusoft.fnal.gov/public/…, with a longer write up in our preprint here: arxiv.org/abs/2606.14121

In the correct ordering, these measurements should agree well, while in the incorrect ordering they would disagree.
