Two key findings .... 1. In HPAF-II (RNF43 mutant PDAC) only 10% of genes are b-catenin independent 2. A subset of the Wnt-repressed genes is enriched for the NRE motif (Kim et al) and we subsequently test its function repressing a lncRNA and modulating AXIN2 expression

.... this implies that b-catenin independent signalling only plays a minor role (transcriptionally?) in Wnt-addicted PDAC and that their might be a regulatory grammar that determines whether a Wnt target gene is activated or repressed in response to pathway activation

By integrating a "lot" of epigenomic datasets, we identified how the non-canonical NF-𝞳B pathway regulates enhancer activity in multiple myeloma .. lots of interesting findings in this work (and lots of data for proud research parasites) .. congrats to everyone involved!
Aberrant non-canonical NF-κB signalling causes epigenomic reprogramming leading to transcriptional changes that favours multiple myeloma progression. @YinghuiLi4 @CriticalSci @KamaakshiD @npharmston @ntusbs @sciencentu @NTUsg @NUSingapore @cardiffuni nature.com/articles/s41467-0…

What does Otk actually do in Wnt signalling? Through a combination of microscopy and transcriptomics - we find more evidence supporting that Otk is the co-receptor for Wnt4, and that its paralog Otk-2 acts a negative regulator of Otk ... mdpi.com/2683814 #wnt

One of the weirdest things (so far) about moving back to the UK is having to explain the difference between 1-based and 0-based indexing to a 3 year old!
