I just talked to the mayor of Rosalia. His town is under level 2 evacs from the fire near Malden. He said he's being told that progress towards his town has stopped, for now.

Right now, a wildfire is threatening the town of Malden, just across the Spokane County line in Whitman County. Malden burned to the ground in 2020.
