Much like being a disabled person during COVID-time, because of [3rd party] accessibility issues, I won’t be here much. Replying in a timely manner as I can but not reading everything like I was… take care. Stay safe. Wear a mask.

Instead of focusing on things that could actually unite Albertans—like improving health care, education, and affordability—Danielle Smith has decided to double down on division and anger. Thumping defeats in her separation referendum and in Calgary-Shaw should have been a wake-up call for the UCP, but instead, they are choosing to reignite culture wars on things like flags and DEI. Albertans are smart. We can all see that the UCP is trying to distract from their failed record, and we're all fed up with it.

Will straight, white Alberta men finally discover that they are not, in fact, the most qualified for the job?

PUMP UP THE VOLUME FOR PEACE Yesterday, we went to the @UNESCO_fr Headquarters to be recognized for our contribution as a UNESCO Artist for Peace for promoting peace, cultural diversity and mutual respect. Through our music, we connect with fans across cultures, encouraging curiosity and understanding beyond linguistic and national boundaries. Most of all, we hope to inspire people to spread peace and be kind to one another. Through our albums and extensive world tours, we have shared the stories, sounds and traditions of Mongolia with audiences around the globe. Our performances encourage people to take pride in their own heritage while discovering and appreciating that of others. The presentation of our new album at UNESCO Headquarters offers a further opportunity to share this musical journey and to deepen our mission of spreading peace and encouraging our responsibility to one another through our music. UNESCO’s commitment to living heritage and creativity is one we take to heart. Their work demonstrates how cultural traditions can evolve. Through the power of music, we continue to promote dialogue between cultures and support UNESCO’s mission to safeguard heritage and advance mutual understanding and peace. 📸: Charlotte Mabille-Lamy and Manon Violence

This is me daydreaming about sitting at the counter at a Tim Horton’s by the IKEA across from Marlborough Mall (when it still had the movie screens) and waiting for a Bow-Tie and hot chocolate.

It would be nice next year if the Alberta NDP also ran on the question of “Do you want us to fix the time zone issue in 2027?”

Canada, understand this: 1) Doctors didn't build publicly funded healthcare. You did. 2) Most of you can't afford private, profiteer healthcare. 3) Doctors aren't going to fix this. We follow the money, just like you. 4) Only the public can save publicly funded healthcare.
Avi Lewis: "We must reverse the privatization of our healthcare system immediately."

WOW! Kelvin-Helmholtz clouds seen earlier this year from Elmira, New York. These rare clouds form on windy days when two different layers of air move at different speeds. Photo courtesy of Alexis Stoner. #NYwx
