Why do the normies need things to get as bad as El Salvador, 2015 (murder capital of the world) before they elect a Nayib Bukele? Just being on a bad path, or garden variety terrible, never seems to cut it.

Individually the midterms mean very little. However, taking into account all the data from the past 20 years, by every metric the doomers are right. I don't want that to be the case, but for them to be wrong, multiple of the following (very unlikely) events would have to occur. * minority voters would have to wake up and stop voting themselves more welfare for the good of the society. This isn't going to happen. Black Americans vote 10:1 for the party of welfare-increases, and receive more benefits per capita because of it. * Islamists would have to stop being.... Islamists. That is never going to happen. The entire Muslim project is one of domination and conquest. For over 1000 years it has never been otherwise. You should sooner expect snakes to stop slithering. * Women would have to stop being suicidally empathetic. This will occur eventually, but only after the winds are fully blowing in the opposite direction, as women are easily swayed by what is popular. * White men / Christendom would have to see themselves as a organized group again. However, this will also only occur after they have completely lost the demographic battle, so there will be no way to reassume power peacefully. Hate to be the bearer of bad news.

A long post but worth it. To the Men of 2368, setting up the next society after “The Great Reckoning:” Athens fell because pure democracy was chaos. The Roman Republic fell because of power battles between oligarchs (Sulla, Cinna, Marius, Pompey, Crassus, Antony, Caesar). America and Europe fell because politicians eventually realized you could just buy people’s votes. (Especially the votes of imported third-worlders with no connection to the land, history and DNA of the society). When setting up this next society, you must read Victor Davis Hansons’ The Dying Citizen, and make it so that citizenship and suffrage are only something that you earn. Both elites and the mob must be kept in check by such citizens— men who have skin in the game, and have earned their citizenship through service to the nation. Do NOT grant people universal suffrage. Or any form of the vote without sacrifice and duty. The mob will just steal everything great men build. Do NOT grant elites any form of entrenched power, or they will never leave. No House of Lords, enforce term limits across the board, make the purchase of votes through policy or handouts illegal. Do NOT fall for the siren song of imported cheap labor, or ever allow immigration from outside your borders without the strictest of IQ and culture checks. Do NOT allow educators to denigrate your society or religion. Decentralize education by mandate. Local schools controlled by locals. Keep the government as small as possible. Have a constitution that sunsets all laws so that regulation and bad policy do not ossify, but must be renegotiated on a regular basis. And as per Warren Buffet: if the federal budget deficit ever exceeds 3% of GDP all lawmakers are permanently ineligible for re-election. Those are the nuggets of wisdom that I can pass on to you. You have to understand: Side A knows this to be a problem of immigration and value-malalignment. We see foreign flags flying over Paris and the participants' true goals.
