Live demo series 📺
Boards! (aka: Text-to-Charts)
Describe what you want to find, in plain language or by voice. Allo builds the query and shows you the result.
A prototype UI and a few mispronunciations, but we still received what we asked for.

We're trying a new format:
Short demos of new features.
First one is contextual menus — because understanding a transaction shouldn't mean opening a dozen tabs. Right-click any value, get a plain-language explanation, keep your thread.
Let us know what you think of the format.
I never noticed how many @alloinfo bookmarks I had scattered over all my devices... 😑 They were stored locally on each browser. Now I can sync them all to my Allo account.
Alright! Back to organizing them properly 🫠
(It's a work in progress...)
We've been quiet for a (long) while...
Not gone though.
The mission never changed: make Algorand data easy to understand, for everyone. We just had other builds to attend to.
Today, we're back in the public space, and happy to announce the next chapter of Allo.

I'm heading to Berlin September 9-10 for the Humanitarian Aid Payments Council, hosted by @AlgoFoundation
Looking forward to connecting with leaders across Aid, Finance, and Blockchain. We'll be focused on scaling blockchain for humanitarian aid payments - making them more secure, transparent, and traceable, but most importantly, building aid trust through verifiable data.
TIL:
You can deploy an #Algorand node in around 1 minute using @coolifyio 🤯
The best dev experience on the market 💜

My staci.algo on bluesky is a legit NFD integration, not a typed word. Deep respect to the platform for enabling that. Open platforms and agnostic, easy integration is the promise of Web3, and the only way forward.
Also, nice job @NFDomains @patrickbennett @prob_fishing for setting the integration up so quickly over there, and for posting the tutorial. 🙏
I'm starting to understand the potential of a decentralized social network like Bsky. We can actually build anything on it 🤯
Reminds me of 3 years ago when I discovered Algorand... And now it's my full time job ;)
I have a confession... I am (was) not so good with typescript 😬
I understand how to read complex types, but I can't figure out how to write them.
Now that I have Claude on my side, I can finally say that my code is perfectly typed. 😂
#NoExplicitAny
Earlier this week, I built a command line tool that calls Claude's API to perform a task.
The tool itself was 90% generated using AI (using Supermaven + Claude)
Am I going too far with this? 😂
💾 10xDEV DIARY - Coding Assistants
I started trying coding assistant a few months ago. I tried Copilot, then TabNine, but I didn't like them. They were either getting in the way, or giving me code that didn't fit the rest of the my codebase.
Lately, I discovered the @SupermavenAI extension for VSCode. That was a game changer.
Unlike the other assistants I tested, this one doesn't get in my way when I code. It doesn't interfere (too much) with the other autocomplete features. It also has a "jump to" feature that moves your cursor to the next place to go after a suggestion. That makes everything go a lot faster.
At first I only used the auto-suggestion features, but I quickly tried generating and refactoring bigger chunks of code using the chat window. Daaaayum.... that's was a big jump in my productivity.
One thing to mention is that I was always a little bit concerned about what code gets sent over the internet. I don't care sending most of the code, but the last thing I want is to share the environment variables.
Supermaven solves those concerns because you have to manually select the files (or part of files) you want to share as context when.
For the past 3 weeks, I've been using Supermaven everyday. I can fairly say that I ship code 5x faster than I used to.
I'm still not at the 10x mark though....
ON THE NEXT EPISODE:
...
Just kidding, I'm done with the back story. Starting from this point I'll post shorter thoughts and discoveries through my journey to become a 10x dev. ✌️
💾 10xDEV DIARY - Claude
Like most people, I tried ChatGPT when it came out. Besides translating stuff or writing emails, I didn't find it very useful for my everyday tasks.
That all changed a few months ago.
I was eating dinner with some #Algofam friends on the last day of Decipher. Someone (shout out to @prob_fishing) was talking about ClaudeAi, explaining the subtle differences from ChatGPT.
On the plane home, I gave it a try. And yes, it felt different. It seemed more focused on the task. Over the next few weeks I found myself asking more and more of Claude.
"Write a tweet about this"
"Create a brand name for that"
It almost became a routine. Before going to bed, I would ask Claude anything that's on my mind. It was helping me get prepared for work the next day.
And obviously, at some point I started asking for code. It all started with a simple:
"Do you know how to write Svelte code?" (yes, Svelte, not React)
The results were quite impressive, so I kept asking for more complex stuff. But I was still doing this the chat app. It was time to step up my game...

💾 10xDEV DIARY - Motivations
I've never considered myself a 10x developer. I'm not a junior, but I'm not a keyboard superstar either. Sometimes I feel a bit "old school".
I started running a company a year ago. Suddenly, I found myself having less time to code. And that's an issue, because I still have to ship code (even more than before).
I tried the usual techniques to be more productive (Pomodoro, better task management, better sleep habits), but it was never enough. I had to find something else. The code won't write itself. Right?
...Right?🤔
ON THE NEXT EPISODE:
From testing LLMs to using them daily.
Recently I embarked on a serious journey to become a real 10x Developer using AI.
I know it's not blockchain or Algorand related, but should I share my insights and discoveries here on twitter?
I finally found an AI coding assistant that doesn't s***.
Thank you @SupermavenAI for getting me closer to the 10X dev status 😎
I gotta admit, I am very jealous of Lora's transaction graphs. It's a beautiful way to visualize such complex data.
We're gonna have to step up our game on @alloinfo 😉
pretty screenshots of your most interesting transactions, with lora.

“Block explorers for Solana are pretty brutal to use”
Explorers are brutal to use on every blockchain. @Alloinfo will change that.
#Motivation
Some of Solana's real issues are vocally expressed by Matthew Sigel, VanEck, who are actively pursuing a Solana ETF. @vaneck_us
- "Issues with spam & chain congestion".
- "March, April, 70% transaction failure rates, that's too high".
- "Block explorers for Solana are pretty brutal to use".
- "I got a bunch of angry emails highlighting all of the wash trading, or alleged wash trading that is happening on some of these liquid meme coin pools".
- "It's hard to just figure out the reality, because theres so much data and no-one really stores it all."
- Solana's consensus design is so complex that few actually know how it works or how it can be improved.
Forms filed for Solana ETFs by the Chicago Board Options Exchange (Cboe) were never acknowledged by the SEC. Thus, Cboe withdrew the forms, although the S-1 forms filed by the issuers are still active.
-Withdrawn on 20th August.
