1400 advocates came out
last night to @Advocates_Soc End of Term dinner. Saw so many friends some of whom I hadn’t seen in over a decade. Law school friends, clerkship buddies and committee members I’d only seen on zoom. A great night. Not sure why I hadn’t been to #EOT before!
Congratulations to my law partner and good friend @ThomasGConway on being awarded the Carleton Medal by the @ccla_abcc tonight. Every lawyer of our firm came out to celebrate Tom. He’s a skilled lawyer and a wonderful person and I’m very proud to be his partner. Congrats Tom!
Congratulations to all the new lawyers called in Ottawa today! This was my first call to the bar ceremony since my own and my first as a LSO bencher. It was emotional and powerful, and made me excited for the future of our profession. I wish you all success and happiness

reach for opportunities I didn’t think were within my grasp. The year I clerked for him, I experienced some personal challenges. When I disclosed this to him, he was compassionate, empathetic and thoughtful. I will never forget his response. /2
Shantona is awesome and I’m pleased that everyone knows it :)

I’m so thankful for the support of my entire firm including that of former LSO treasurer, and my current law partner @ThomasGConway. I could not have done this without them.
Congratulations to our partner, Natalia Rodriguez (@nurodrig19), on her election as bencher of the Law Society of Ontario! #onlaw #BencherElection2023
