I wasn't going to discuss this publicly just yet but since I have been mansplained about what a woman is today, here goes: a week ago I had to go in for cervical and endometrial biopsies because my Pap smear came back with very concerning results. First the doctor took chunks from my cervix, then he entered my uterus with a tool. He wasn't satisfied with the access, so he used a different tool to grab my cervix and tilt it as he attempted to scrape some of the lining of my uterus. Three people stood there staring at my genitals while telling me how nice and stoic I am. Sadly, he didn't get good samples so I will go back next month for an ultrasound of everything and more biopsies. In May my breasts will be placed into a vise so he can make sure I don't have breast cancer. These procedures are routine for ACTUAL women, and no one has made an effort to make them less uncomfortable. MEN, DO NOT TELL ME YOU ARE A WOMAN BECAUSE YOU WOKE UP FEELING PRETTY TODAY. I don't buy your bullshit and I never will. If this post makes you uncomfortable, that's your problem. This is what it means to be an adult human female.
