Why do people want shiny lights and cool walkouts before an enjoyable and good gameplay experience? Is the 10 second game intro really that captivating for you to decide if you want to play nhl or not? I don’t get it
I was an EASHL diehard f/ the first iteration, have always loved the NHL series warts & all.
NHL23 was the last NHL I bought, I can’t bring myself to buy again until the horrid (& outdated) Fortnite style presentation is gone in favor of real presentation.

The XP system is unbalanced as expected. You can get more XP by playing squad battles on max points than even being in div 1, how does that make sense? So superstar and 4 minute SB are more difficult than playing in div 1? Needs immediately reworked.
NHL 25 is a step in the right direction, after two years of the worst gameplay I’ve ever experienced, we are back to a promising game.
6s plays 5x better than 1s so far, but that doesn’t mean 1s is bad, just need some improvements, player switching and passing are my big two.
Might be the worst HUT changes I’ve seen in a long time. With the potential on no weekly packs, F2P players just got nuked into the ground. Good luck saving up for the fantasy event and competing in champs.
