“Sundial (You Are)”out now!🌅
I thoroughly enjoyed making this one. Probably the quickest song I’ve written yet. Didn’t think too much, just let it write itself. I should do that more often😅
It’s all yours now, enjoy! Exciting times ahead! ;)

At this point, it’s either ignorance or an unwillingness to question the interests you’ve been conditioned to defend.
Spearhead isn’t only exposing artists; it’s revealing how little many of you understand about power, class, and the systems shaping your reality.

The depoliticisation of Afrobeat(s) is no mistake. They reduced even Fela to igbo and pant
Some of our artists are in the quotes acting obtuse. Disappointed but not surprised
Afrobeats And Its Links To US Secret Intelligence
Have you ever found yourself wondering why Afrobeats - the joyful soundtrack to the "Africa Rising" era from the late 2000s through the early 2010s - seems to have lost much of its energy and lustre of recent? Does it seem to you like the music no longer belongs to the fans and has become a distant, expensive product that nobody can relate with anymore?
You are not imagining it - in fact the reality of what has happened to Afrobeats is a lot darker than you would possibly imagine. Far from just a fresh music genre that embodied the sounds and aspirations of a new generation across the continent, it has been coopted into the arsenal of the US government's extensive foreign influence and interference tools. In fact, your favourite Afrobeats artist, as incredible as it sounds, most likely now has a handler permanently assigned to them by the US State Department.
In this special report, The Spearhead Senior Reporter Mckay Chukwu examines a story that has been hiding in plain sight for years, detailing the State Department's well-funded cultural interference infrastructure which has been deployed all over the Global South to bend entire populations and their governments toward the foreign policy goals of the US government.

Not a Messi fan, but he was the best player at this World Cup. Happy he lost the finals but give the man his flowers.
Even with 30 seconds left the world knew he could have produced a moment of magic to draw Argentina level. I understand the hate, given how they acted, but let’s be for real here.
messi got biggest hate campaign in his career this entire tournament bc he outperformed everyone and every single team alone and now he's getting hate again bc he lost another final, they hated him so so much that he didn't even get his deserved individual award at the end.

Bright side about the World Cup being over is that I no longer get to hear “rigged!” from people who literally tuned into their first football games this year 😂

They were calling Messi "FIFA boy" only for him to get robbed of the most deserving World Cup Best Player of the Tournament award.
