@roark made a day pack that opens like it means it. The Passenger 27L 2.0 seals with a magnetic roll top, hides a padded 16 inch laptop sleeve behind its own external entry, and somehow weighs just 1.5 pounds empty.
Waterproof zips up top for sunglasses, stretch mesh on both sides for bottles, a hidden passport pocket for the one document that runs the whole trip. Quilted back panel, air mesh straps, orange lining where you least expect it.
It leads a new five pack travel collection from Roark, priced at $109 while the biggest sibling, the 45L Accomplice Mule, tops the range at $189.

JUST DROPPED: EP 53
@chessnut.official built a chessboard where every piece moves itself.
Each piece carries its own motor, wheels and battery, so the whole board resets at once, online opponents move on your table, and every position is tracked to the millimeter.
Wooden set $1,099. Plastic set $899. On sale now at chessnutech.com.

MOSSLAB turned a wall into a garden that forgives neglect. Moss Hexa panels are 100% real living moss in hexagons that click together magnetically with HexaLock, no soil, no tools, just a light misting about once a week.
It launched on Kickstarter on October 13, starting at $59 for a three panel Basic set, with larger sets up to $339 and fulfillment estimated for June 2027.

Zempire built a tent that behaves like real estate. The Shapeshifter 4 SA starts as a sleeping module and an awning module zipped into one four person air tent, then grows with living, awning and extra sleeping modules until eight people fit.
No poles to thread. Oversized air tubes inflate in about seven minutes, Aeroweave canvas shrugs off 6,000 mm of rain, and the bedroom pod stays dark for slow mornings. The full kit weighs 24.3 kilos and packs into two bags.
The complete 4 SA setup runs $1,700, with annex modules from about $500 and extra sleeping modules around $1,200.
