The lads on their mid term break tidied up three gardens this morning. Cut grass, cleared paths, dug out weeds and power washed outdoor spaces for older residents and young parents. 💪

Completely overwhelmed by all the messages I have received since my statement.
As I continue my treatment and my recovery now know that I simply have to raise more awareness around mental health in the future
Best part of 6 weeks before the UK Championships starts and all being well I’ll be in a better place by then but for now it’s just one day at a time
Thanks again for all your support. It’s meant so so much to myself and my family

Just the two gardens tonight as we worked until the light faded. A bit of grass cutting, tree pruning and a good amount of painting as we finished our midweeks until next spring. We’re back at it Saturday week 💪

Two young parents and a pensioners garden completed tonight as well as two public spaces. Lifted 10 green bags of garden waste. Second last evening shift for the lads as the daylight deserts us.

And so the end is now …..it was lovely to see so many friends from over the years at Diamonds today I honestly couldn’t believe the love shown to me and my staff Paula and Pauline. Diamonds has now closed …. I thank you one and all and especially the media for being so kind 😊

Great to see Belfast’s historic cobbled streets echoing with the sound of pipes and drums today.
Congratulations to Campbell College Pipes & Drums for proudly showcasing Ulster-Scots culture during Fleadh Cheoil.
A brilliant advert for our city. 👏🎶

Firefighters battle a blaze at a house in north Belfast tonight.
Crews were called to reports of a house fire in Ardoyne shortly after 11pm.
The fire has now been extinguished. @BelTel

Windsor park is a place for all. Catholic players, catholic fans are always in attendance. We can find fault in anything in life if that’s how you want to naturally think??
My suggestion would be to take your son and get behind the team. Memories for a lifetime that he and you will treasure!
Just to add my family is both catholic and Protestant.

This is depressing, what a lack of ambition. So we have hoards of tourists (apparently) in Belfast city centre. Let’s put arts and culture events on, run artisan markets where local goods can be sold, pop up play areas, close streets and have food trucks…..no…. Open Marks and Sparks and Primark. What a depressing council we have
What about the workers? They have choice to work apparently. Sure, they can’t be forced, but if you’re on a part time contract or zero hours contract are you really saying no?
Open the shops, that’s the height of ambition in this city, maybe make the city centre look nicer and people might want to come in!
Would you like to see the extension of Sunday trading hours? About eight out of 10 people in Belfast are in favour.
