The early bird catches the worm. Even earlier than the bird thought, as the bird forgot that the clocks went back 😳 👀

Homeward bound. 🇮🇪 I used two bags while away, found four in a zip pocket of the suitcase. That makes me probably the only person to come back with more bags than I packed going away. I tell you, it could only be me 👀👀😂

The 10 year thing is playing havoc with me. Every night going to bed I'm getting a fear of not waking up which is causing me to have panic attacks. Then tablets kick in and I get about 4 hrs of sleep but with night terrors present. Mental sometimes as hard as physical 👊

Today is 10 years to the day that my aortic artery ruptured inside my abdomen. We ddnt plan on being away but it feels right. I've had to fight everyday since October 16th 2016, but I've had this amazing lady next me, without her I do not know whether I would have made it.

Revised list Bags and rings have a 50% (15) increase due to general consensus ie @JKStoma and @DannyBritton14 It would have been 100% increase only for @Oakes1316 Could be swayed different though. Bloody hell Im so easily led, which is why I was always in the sh1t at school😂👀

Today's pain is so high I can feel it coming out of my bloody eyes. Does that make sense?

Just this
The chronic pain community cannot afford a hierarchy of suffering. Some patients manage their pain without prescription opioids. Others rely on non-opioid medications, procedures, physical therapy, or a combination of treatments. And some of us depend on full agonist opioid therapy to maintain a meaningful quality of life. I will never apologize for defending access to full agonist opioids when they are medically appropriate. But here’s what I won’t do: diminish another patient’s treatment to defend my own. We do not need to agree on treatment to stand together on patient autonomy. The enemy isn’t the patient who chooses a different path. It’s the stigma, the blanket policies, the fear-driven decision-making, and the erosion of individualized pain care. We have enough people questioning our suffering without doing it to each other. Your relief does not invalidate mine. My medication does not threaten your recovery. And none of us should have to prove that our way of surviving is morally superior. Different treatments. Different bodies. One community. That’s how we fight for all of us.

The ensuite (i know, proper posh me 👀) where the toilet is, is 4 paces from my bed. The way my pain is right now it might as well be in Dublin. I feel pissed off today as my pain is so high, I can't even go downstairs and watch TV with my J. She's down there on her own, not fair

This is our reality

Most GPs do not know how to deal with us. Palliative levels of analgesia without the associated outcome. I’ve been called an addict, it took my pain consultant to tell him I must be the worst addict going as, for example, I had refused OxyContin. I hated going to the chemist, as they had reported me to my GP because …. Wait for it… I was an addict! I’ve even had one GP say “ I don’t understand why you are still in pain 36 years later” I told him about how my scars develop and also thicken, he just didn’t want to know.
