Iโm currently building my career as a Web3 KOL
Although I havenโt landed my first KOL role yet,I'm actively working toward that goal.
Iโm also into content writing and reply guy and always looking for opportunities to learn, grow and contribute value to projects.
Proof of Authority (PoA) in Web3
Proof of Authority (PoA) is a blockchain consensus mechanism where transactions are validated by a selected group of approved validators based on their verified identities and reputation.
Unlike Proof of Work, which depends on computational power
Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) in Web3
Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) is a blockchain consensus mechanism that allows token holders to vote for a selected group of delegates or validators who are responsible for helping secure the network and validate transactions.
Token ownership: Users hold tokens in the blockchain network.
Voting: Token holders use their voting power to elect delegates.
Delegate selection: The network selects representatives based on its voting rules.
Proof of Stake (PoS) in Web3
Proof of Stake (PoS) is a blockchain consensus mechanism that allows a network to validate transactions and secure the blockchain through validators who stake their cryptocurrency.
Accessibility: Users can participate in staking without owning expensive mining equipment.
Disadvantages of Proof of Stake
Large token holders may have greater influence.
Staked tokens may be locked or subject to withdrawal delays.
Proof of Work (PoW) in Web3
Proof of Work (PoW) is a blockchain consensus mechanism that allows computers on a network to verify transactions and secure the blockchain by solving computational puzzles.
Disadvantages of Proof of Work
High energy consumption.
Requires powerful computing equipment.
Can have slower transaction processing.
Mining equipment can be expensive.
