“I’m not mad. I don’t want you to go away…” MONSTER (2023) captures the heartbreak of two children who don’t know how to ask for more time together. That little pause before Minato says what he really feels absolutely destroys me.
What’s a movie scene that gets you every single time, no matter how many times you’ve watched it? Not necessarily the saddest scene in a film, but one that hits you just as hard even when you know exactly what’s coming. Curious to hear which scenes have never lost their emotional impact for you.

calling the story of this film a "void of nothingness" is fucking ridiculous, even if you didn't like the movie lmao.
#PossibleLove: Being negative on a movie with a 95 on Metacritic feels incredibly awkward and weird, even for me, but I really struggled to vibe with this one. I've always been underwhelmed by relationship-friction movies, but this one just left me feeling absolutely nothing. Nearly three hours of staring at the screen and trying to connect with anything happening. The stuff about the job loss was probably the only thing that got a glimmer of attention from me. It's not a badly constructed movie from a filmmaking standpoint, but the story left me feeling like I was staring into a void of nothingness. By the halfway point, I was praying it'd win me over in the second-half but it just never did.

the things Jeon Do-yeon does with her performance in Possible Love are something i’ll never forget. the little gestures and subtle expressions that make the character feel like someone you’ve met before, like someone as familiar as a family member. that warmth is not easy to translate onto the screen. i’m in complete awe.

THIS. Seol Kyung-gu should be at the top of the Best Actor convo this year. He's incredible in Possible Love. even in silence, he has this inexplicable presence you just cant look away from. Such a devastating performance. Won't forget this anytime soon...
a performance that's miles ahead of the ones being predicted for best actor #btw

o povo criticando a menina só pq ela era jovem fubanga que gosta de tiktok, mas era ela quem estava passando instruções pra torre mesmo apavorada enquanto o piloto rezava esperando morrer. se fosse homem, esse papo não existiria
The co-pilot of the Learjet that crashed into the ground in Florida has been identified as 20-year-old Nathalia Filgueiras, texted her boyfriend just 10 minutes before the crash. Filgueiras' mother said she "always knew" a plane would "take her away from me." The pilot was flying to the Bahamas when the plane plummeted 20,000 feet per minute into the ground. "I wanted her to live her dream, but I knew that her dream was going to be the thing that would take her away from me," her mother told the New York Post. "I knew that a plane was gonna take her away from me. I always knew it, but I was so proud of her. I know she was living her dream." Just 10 minutes before the crash, Filgueiras reportedly texted her boyfriend: "I’ve got turbulence, I’ve got ice." The female pilot got her pilot license in high school. Her stepfather says she had 1,300 hours of experience. In a social media post, Filgueiras boasted about how young she was as a pilot with her boyfriend. "How often do you see 2 pilots under 21 with a commercial, multi-engine, instrument, CFI/CFI-I," she said. 8 other people were on board the jet when it crashed. They have yet to be identified.

Men will tone police a woman even as she’s falling to her death
A pilot should not: 🔘become hysterical 🔘speak too quickly to be intelligible 🔘say, "We're going to crash into the ground!" 🔘scream like a little girl 🔘hyperventilate 🔘scream like a little girl again A pilot needs a certain disposition. This is not it. That's the reality.

The aircraft was in an uncontrolled overspeed dive exceeding 20,000 ft/min from cruising altitude. Expecting calm is unrealistic; male pilots have screamed in CVRs facing death, e.g. Western 2605. fox13news.com/news/were-gonn… en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Western_A…

mind you the pilot was a man. but because the CO pilot was female my tl is filled with misogyny today. men need to be lonelier
>Pays $30,000 to fly private >female pilot >mfw

The Florida Learjet crash had a male captain and female co-pilot. It occurred during a severe thunderstorm. The NTSB is investigating. Studies adjusting for experience find no significant difference in accident rates between male and female pilots. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2026_Palm… newsweek.com/do-women-pilot… aopa.org/training-and-s…
