As a longtime Max Payne fan and admirer of the @remedygames I created this web-based tribute demoscene (link in the comments). I’d be grateful if you could check it out, any feedback or a repost would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Max stood before the painting. The plaque beneath read "Nicole, The Director". The one in control. But he saw through it. It's not a painting. It's a poster. There’s a hole behind that poster that leads to a real world - one stripped of guilt, beyond pain. He raised his ingrams and loaded a hundred rounds of lead straight into the witch’s heart. The illusion shattered, unveiling the winter outside. The snow didn’t ask questions. The wind didn’t need answers. The destination didn’t matter anymore. The journey is all that was left. #MaxPayne @remedygames

Max stood in a forgotten room of the Oceanview Motel. The kind untouched by reality. A painting on the wall. Colors bleeding into each other. Beckoning with a soft yet cruel familiarity. The light cord hung from the ceiling, as if descended from heaven itself. Each pull, he thought, might draw him back. Back to the lives he once had. To sensations he could almost feel: the silky hair, the firm body, the helping hand. But with every pull, the light shifted. Shadows lengthened. Dragging him deeper. Darker. Further from what he wanted. Hope has warped. Now a cycle. Each turn closer to the truth. "Everyone you touch..." said the cunning Flamingo, holding the final word for the last accord. The final pull came. The fifth. His hand was steady now. Resigned. It was never about what he wanted. The room collapsed. Edges burning away. Flames licking at reality. The witch was waiting. @ControlRemedy #MaxPayne @alanwake

The air shifted. Order began to convulse. Lines warped into a spiraling vortex, a cruel mockery of symmetry. Twisting like a drill burrowing into your skull, turning your eyes onto the inside. What's on the TV tonight? #ControlRemedy #AlanWake #MaxPayne

The red thread led Max to the heart of the maze. Not a guide. A demand. A fate you can’t escape. The singing came. Dissonant, like a lullaby sung by something that never known sleep. The ocean was there, pressing against the shadows of the room. Waiting. #MaxPayne #AlanWake

Thinking about The Last of Us Part II and how I’d rewrite it to resonate with me more: 1) Abby, as the daughter of a scientist, becomes a scientist herself. She continues her father's mission to find a cure but can't fight her anger over Joel.

7) Ellie saves heavily exhausted Abby and Lev, no fight between them. Abby explains to Ellie about the research for the cure and how they need her. Abby and Lev get into the boat, and Ellie, leaving Dina and everyone else behind, joins them, ready to make her sacrifice (she will)

8) Narr Diss: Depending on the amount of NPCs killed, I'd change the tone of the cutscenes, and also give player a choice to shoot Abbie at the boat scene, with Lev biting off Ellies fingers, Ellie shooting Lev, and returning to play Joel's guitar, betraying her own younger self.
