HS Athletes‼️‼️ If you can and have the means, look into taking AP and/or dual credit courses. I’m not suggesting overloading yourself or stacking multiple classes, specifically just English Comp and College Algebra. These classes can put you ahead before you even step on a college campus. You can save time, save money, and even take the stress of placement exams (like TSI in Texas) out of the equation and avoid developmental/remedial classes that don’t count toward a degree. Athletes who come in with AP and/or dual credit credits are often glad they did, as they quickly see the benefits and how much easier it can make their academic journey.
